Senior Manager, Finance & Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager, Finance & Operations will lead USP Kenya’s day‑to‑day financial, accounting, procurement, logistics and administrative functions. Reporting to GHMS Program Delivery, you will ensure transparent, compliant, and efficient management of donor‑funded projects while supporting the broader mission of advancing public health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance, accounting, procurement, logistics and administrative activities for the Kenya office.
• Ensure compliance with USP, donor and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting.
• Supervise finance and operations staff across locations to ensure consistent processes.
• Coordinate closely with USP HQ, Global Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Security and project teams.
• Provide operational support to facilitate effective project implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance and operations in a donor‑funded or nonprofit environment.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, procurement policies and logistics management.
• Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across countries.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
