Senior Manager IT Applications & Asset Management

About the role

The Senior Manager IT Applications & Asset Management leads the operational support and continuous improvement of Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications, ensuring service stability and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership for Bancassurance and Investment Banking applications, including monitoring, incident and problem management, change control and vendor coordination.
• Plan, direct and review the Business Applications Support team, allocate activities, assess work methods and resolve service‑delivery issues.
• Drive system enhancements, automation and process improvements to boost efficiency and controls.
• Lead technical delivery for projects and integrations affecting Bancassurance, Investment Banking, Custody and Wealth Management applications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, support procedures, project and incident reports, and service‑performance reports.
• Develop business‑continuity, disaster‑recovery and monitoring procedures to minimise downtime.
• Define testing methods for changes, upgrades and fixes, ensuring compliance with functional, security and performance standards.
• Review software and vendor solutions for compliance with architecture, security, regulatory and risk standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related engineering field; Master’s degree in Management/IT is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT management, preferably within banking, insurance or wealth management environments.
• Strong knowledge of payment platforms, regulatory and audit requirements, budgeting and procurement practices.
• Experience with application installation, administration, monitoring, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Proven leadership, supervision and training abilities.
