Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

About the role

Talent Gaze is seeking a part‑time Senior Marketing Communications Specialist to join its team in Kajiado County, Kenya. Working in a hybrid model, you will design and execute integrated communication plans that reinforce the brand and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement cohesive marketing communication strategies across digital, social and traditional channels.
• Write, edit and distribute press releases and other media materials.
• Coordinate public‑relations activities and manage relationships with journalists and stakeholders.
• Maintain communication calendars, ensure consistent brand voice, and monitor campaign performance.
• Support strategic projects such as announcements, stakeholder updates and reputation‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior or lead communications roles, preferably within the Kenyan market.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
