Senior M&E Advisor

About the role

ActionAid is seeking a Senior Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Advisor to provide technical leadership across its programmes in Kenya. You will work closely with programme teams to design robust evaluations, analyse data, and translate findings into actionable learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide M&E technical support and guidance to programme staff.
• Design and oversee evaluations, assessments, and monitoring frameworks.
• Conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Build M&E capacity within programme teams through training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional M&E experience.
• Strong knowledge of evaluation methodology and data analysis techniques.
