Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Fahari Link is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support its growing high‑speed internet infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring scalable, secure and highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN and QoS.
• Perform network maintenance, system upgrades, patches and security configurations.
• Monitor performance, availability and capacity planning to ensure reliable service.
• Provide Level‑2/3 support, troubleshoot issues and work within change‑management processes.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams on problem resolution and security implementation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and prioritize faults.
• B.Sc. degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, HCNA, CCNP; CCIE or CISSP highly valued.
• Proven hands‑on network engineering experience in a senior capacity.
• Willingness to work on a 24×7 call‑out rota.

Required skills

• Routing protocols: BGP, MPLS (L2/L3 VPN), ISIS, OSPF (IPv4 & IPv6).
• Configuration of switches, firewalls and routers from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei and Mikrotik.
• Experience with FTTH and Huawei OLT platforms.
• Network monitoring, capacity planning and security tool implementation.
• Knowledge of VPN, QoS and load‑balancing technologies.
