Senior People Partner

About the role

Join M-KOPA’s expanding People team as a Senior People Partner in Kenya, supporting the country’s largest market. You will partner with business leaders to translate rapid growth into strategic people decisions that drive commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead headcount planning, performance calibration and organisational design for a defined client group.
• Own end‑to‑end employee relations resolution, applying Kenyan employment law.
• Support change initiatives such as restructuring, process redesign and cross‑functional delivery.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of progressive HR/People Partner experience advising business leaders on workforce decisions.
• Working knowledge of Kenyan employment law and proven handling of employee‑relations matters.
• Experience contributing to org design, workforce planning or performance frameworks.

Required skills

• Strong commercial mindset with ability to balance business trade‑offs and risk.
• Expertise in Kenyan labour regulations and employee‑relations processes.
