Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead the design and execution of strategic sourcing and procurement processes across the organization, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal requirements while delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement strategies that meet price, quality, and delivery targets.
• Evaluate business challenges, mitigate risks, and identify procurement opportunities.
• Prepare annual procurement budgets, forecasts, and contribute to overall business strategy.
• Own procurement policies, guidelines, and related documentation.
• Design and implement innovative e‑procurement processes.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with key suppliers to secure value for money.
• Forecast market trends and manage supplier power dynamics.
• Build and sustain a competitive vendor base leveraging global markets.
• Implement supplier performance evaluation and compliance processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Coach, mentor, and manage a high‑performing procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and contracts, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of strategic sourcing, budget management, and supplier negotiation.
• Strong analytical and risk‑management capabilities.
