Senior Python Engineer – Remote AI/ML Role

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a leading LLM company and help improve large language models through high‑quality data creation, fine‑tuning and benchmarking. The position is fully remote and offers a competitive compensation package based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain efficient Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Generate, curate and manage task‑specific datasets for supervised fine‑tuning.
• Conduct evaluations and benchmark model performance across diverse domains.
• Rank and assess model responses to ensure alignment with predefined criteria.
• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and refine reward models.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands‑on experience with supervised fine‑tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
• Solid understanding of evaluation and benchmarking methodologies for AI models.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
