Senior Sales Lead – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Lead to drive new business and grow revenue in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. The role will focus on acquiring importers, exporters, manufacturers and corporate clients while leading a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting key logistics customers.
• Build, manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently exceed targets.
• Leverage existing client database and network to generate new opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and monitor the performance of the sales team.
• Conduct client visits, presentations, negotiations and close contracts.
• Establish long‑term relationships with decision‑makers and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and pipeline updates for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, international logistics or supply‑chain solutions.
• Demonstrated success selling air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing or contract logistics.
• Active portfolio and pipeline of logistics clients.
• Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Previous experience leading and managing a sales team.
• Strong business development, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and willing to spend significant time in the field.
