Senior Solution Advisor - S/4HANA Procurement

About the role

SAP is looking for a Senior Solution Advisor to join its Solution Advisory community in East Africa, based in Nairobi. You will independently lead advisory engagements for strategic procurement accounts across Emerging Africa, from initial discovery through to decision and adoption. The role involves regional travel to support key customer engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Independently engage enterprise customers at key sales-cycle stages, owning the advisory narrative from first conversation through to solution commitment.
• Conduct thorough client needs assessments, uncovering the business drivers behind each procurement transformation.
• Deliver S/4HANA Procurement demonstrations and business stories covering spend visibility, process automation, supplier collaboration and procurement compliance.
• Map customers' AI journeys, aligning intelligent procurement features to their readiness and helping them realise value from automation, spend analytics and AI-powered sourcing.
• Co-create an agreed SAP vision with customers and partners, turning solution capabilities into a shared procurement transformation roadmap.
• Communicate the ongoing value of SAP Procurement solutions to build adoption, drive consumption and expand revenue within each account.
• Partner with account executives and regional teams to develop competitive strategies across the Emerging Africa portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong experience independently engaging customers throughout the sales cycle, with specialist depth in S/4HANA Procurement.
• Able to position SAP competitively and communicate clearly with stakeholders from procurement directors to C-suite executives.
• Degree in business, technology, supply chain or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is an advantage.

Required skills

• Practical use of AI and automation tools in daily workflows, including designing effective prompts and prototyping solutions.
• Ability to take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
