Senior Statistician – RWE Experience

About the role

ICON is seeking a Senior Statistician with Real‑World Evidence (RWE) experience to join its biostatistics team. You will work on sponsor‑dedicated projects, contributing to study design, data analysis and reporting for clinical programmes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior biostatisticians with study design, sample size calculations, patient randomisation and data analysis.
• Support statistical aspects of case report form design and write statistical analysis plans.
• Develop and execute data manipulation and analysis programs, and write data quality control specifications.
• Prepare statistical summary reports and contribute to methods sections of integrated study reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics or a related field.
• Experience in a biostatistics role within the pharmaceutical, clinical research or healthcare industry, with specific RWE experience.
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts, study design and sample size calculations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in statistical software packages and relevant computer languages for data manipulation and analysis.
• Ability to write and implement programs for data selection, retrieval, editing and analysis.
