About the role
Senior Technician oversees laboratory services and equipment maintenance at Maseno University, supporting the textile and fashion design department.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee laboratory services to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain and service laboratory equipment and sewing machinery.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Textile, Apparel and Fashion Design or equivalent.
- Minimum three years’ experience as a technician in a related field.
- Proven proficiency in operating sewing machines and fashion CAD software.
- Competence in relevant computer applications.
Required skills
- Operating sewing machines.
- Fashion computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
- Computer applications for technical work.
