Senior UX Designer, Web

About the role

Neat is looking for a senior UX designer to own the user experience of its ecommerce‑enabled website. You will translate the brand’s simplicity and clarity into a seamless digital journey, influencing not only the site but also marketing, support and other customer‑facing areas.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall UX direction for the website, establishing standards and a shared design language.
• Set up UX processes, rituals and research cadence, including design reviews and user testing.
• Lead UX work for major product launches from concept through launch day.
• Design the end‑to‑end ecommerce experience, covering browsing, product pages and checkout.
• Collaborate with product marketing to craft a consistent narrative on the neat.no site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in UX/Interaction Design or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of UX design experience, including senior ownership of complex web products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating ecommerce or high‑traffic consumer web work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch or Adobe Suite for wireframing and prototyping.
• Expertise in content architecture and information design.
• Experience conducting and applying user research.
• Ability to create high‑fidelity UX designs and user flows.
• Knowledge of design systems at scale.
