Senior WordPress Developer

About the role

Softgic is hiring a Senior WordPress Developer on a full-time basis. The role covers configuring, developing and maintaining websites and web content, managing integrations with marketing platforms, and keeping sites performant and up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, develop and maintain websites and web content using WordPress, working closely with design and content teams.
• Manage integrations with platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot and other systems, ensuring smooth interaction between websites and digital tools.
• Lead projects for website content updates, functionality enhancements and feature development, in line with business objectives.
• Monitor and improve website performance, including page load speed and responsiveness.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and test responsive designs.
• Maintain web servers (experience with Liquid Web is a plus), handle WordPress and PHP updates, troubleshoot issues and resolve server problems such as memory issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a web developer using WordPress, Webflow and AI-powered tools.
• Strong experience with Elementor Pro, including a portfolio of recent projects.
• Experience building and maintaining websites with AI-assisted tools (e.g. Claude Code and Google Stitch).
• Familiarity with SEO and web analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Experience with marketing and automation platforms such as Marketo and HubSpot.
• Excellent troubleshooting, QA, project management, communication and teamwork skills.
