Service Advisor (Automotive) - Mombasa

About the role

A customer-centric Service Advisor is sought to act as the main point of contact for service and parts customers. The role covers identifying customer needs, coordinating service processes and ensuring smooth billing and vehicle handover to build customer loyalty. The position is based in Mombasa.

Key responsibilities

• Receive customers and accurately capture vehicle details.
• Schedule service appointments and track vehicles due for service.
• Perform service check-ups to identify requirements and potential needs.
• Prepare service and repair work orders with workshop teams.
• Explain quotations, upsell services and give regular updates to customers.
• Prepare invoices and gate passes and carry out pre-delivery inspections.
• Hand over vehicles, explain completed work and collect feedback.
• Promote new offers and marketing campaigns, and recommend service intervals based on vehicle conditions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Completion of relevant Service Advisor training is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong automotive knowledge and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
