Service Point Advisor – Leave Cover (Kisumu)

About the role
The Service Point Advisor will provide temporary coverage for a leave period at DHL's Kisumu service point. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, sales, and after‑sales support while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with parcel shipments, tracking, and documentation.
- Process sales transactions and promote DHL services.
- Handle after‑sales queries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and update the point‑of‑sale system.
- Support the team with administrative tasks and office duties.
Required profile
- Diploma or Associate's degree.
- At least one month of experience in retail sales, point‑of‑sale environments, or customer service.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and logistics operations.
Required skills
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Conflict resolution, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Customer relationship management experience.
- Geographical knowledge of the Kisumu region.
