Silk Screen Operator / Press Operator

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Silk Screen Operator / Press Operator to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia, producing printed materials to Navy quality standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up screens, prepare inks, align materials, and operate manual or automated presses to produce high‑quality prints.
• Monitor press operations, adjust settings, and inspect finished products for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality.
• Maintain production schedules, ensure safety compliance, and keep the workspace clean and orderly.
• Manage ink and supply inventory, document production output, and perform equipment cleaning and maintenance.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in silk screen printing or press operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year beyond hire date and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and obtain facility credentials.
• English reading, speaking, and comprehension sufficient for job duties and emergency procedures.
