Site Measurement Technician

About the role

A construction organisation is looking for an experienced Site Measurement Technician in Nairobi. The role involves carrying out site assessments, determining the concrete quantities needed for construction projects and preparing accurate measurement reports. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and measure construction areas to determine the required concrete quantities.
• Assess site dimensions, layouts and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate and reliable site measurement reports.
• Review site conditions to support correct concrete quantity estimates.
• Coordinate with relevant project teams to confirm measurement requirements.
• Travel to construction sites within Nairobi and its environs.

Required profile

• Diploma in Construction Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in site measurements and determining concrete quantities for construction projects.
• Good understanding of construction processes, site layouts and concrete requirements.
• Valid driving licence.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi and its environs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement reporting.
