About the role

Run It Marketing is a full-service marketing agency in Nairobi that helps brands share their stories through visuals and effective strategies, specialising in brand strategy, social media marketing and sports media. As Social Media Manager you will manage social media accounts for selected clients across different industries, develop engaging content, run digital marketing strategies and use data to improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the brand's digital presence end-to-end, from strategy and planning through execution, optimisation and reporting.
• Develop and implement digital strategies supporting the brand's marketing and business objectives.
• Identify digital opportunities that increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion.
• Develop and oversee content strategies across social media, websites, email and other digital channels.
• Lead content creation, working with designers, videographers, influencers and creators.
• Stay ahead of digital and social trends, platforms, formats and conversations.
• Manage digital campaigns from ideation and briefing through execution and optimisation.
• Manage and optimise paid digital campaigns across platforms, ensuring budgets are used effectively.
• Develop and manage content calendars balancing planned campaigns, always-on content and real-time opportunities.
• Oversee social media publishing, community engagement and day-to-day platform management.
• Write copy, campaign messaging, briefs and digital assets where needed.
• Prepare regular performance reports with recommendations for future activity.
