Software Engineer – Fintech (Nairobi)

About the role

Our client develops software that powers micro‑finance and lending platforms for Saccos, banks and other lending institutions. As a Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing fintech team in Nairobi, delivering both backend and frontend solutions for real‑world financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using .NET and Node.js.
• Build responsive front‑end applications with Angular and React.
• Create and optimise database schemas in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and support mobile applications and integrate third‑party APIs and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with product, support and business teams to deliver high‑quality features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a fintech or micro‑finance environment.
• Hands‑on experience with the listed technology stack.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
