Software Engineer Intern – CAD Application (Student)

About the role

Join Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Software Engineer Intern, working on the NX CAD product—a leading commercial CAD application. This full‑time, on‑site internship is open to students pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test software components for the NX CAD product.
• Maintain existing code bases and resolve customer‑reported and internal issues.
• Execute unit and integration tests to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Collaborate individually or within a team to meet project requirements and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of C++/C; familiarity with Python or C# is a plus.
• Understanding of data structures and object‑oriented analysis and design.
• Interest in CAD/CAM/CAE or graphics domains and willingness to learn advanced algorithms.
