Sourcing Team Lead

About the role

A Sourcing Team Lead is sought to oversee the daily operations of the Sourcing team, keeping a steady pipeline of high-quality talent for strategic and high-volume hiring needs. The role covers team performance monitoring, conversion metrics, candidate pipelines and sourcing strategy execution. It is an on-site position in Nairobi, Kenya, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm CST.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Sourcing team and track performance at individual and team level
• Foster accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure sourcing strategies are executed for high-priority and high-volume positions
• Run candidate sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, databases, social media and networking
• Analyze recruitment metrics such as conversion rates, candidate volume, time-to-submission, pipeline health and productivity, and report findings to leadership
• Train and mentor team members on Boolean search, advanced sourcing, outreach, ATS management and CRM best practices, and give continuous coaching
• Serve as the primary escalation point, resolve sourcing roadblocks and align sourcing with business and hiring objectives
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and quality standards, and drive projects that increase productivity and sourcing quality

Required profile

• Experience leading or coordinating sourcing and recruiting teams
• Previous experience in talent sourcing, talent acquisition, recruitment, headhunting and pipeline development
• Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and performance indicators
• Experience supporting high-volume and hard-to-fill roles
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
