About the role
The Specialist – Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting & Learning will support the Lead in implementing and continuously improving MERL systems across the Safaricom and M-PESA Foundations' programme portfolio. The role ensures programmes are evidence‑based, results‑oriented and accountable.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in programme performance measurement, data management, reporting, research and impact assessment.
- Support data collection, analysis, reporting, evaluations, learning initiatives and knowledge‑management processes.
- Collaborate with programme teams, implementing partners, donors, government agencies and other stakeholders to strengthen organisational learning and data quality.
- Promote adoption of digital MERL systems, innovative data collection methodologies and evidence‑generation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Foundation policies, donor requirements and ISO 26000 Social Responsibility Guidelines.
