Speech and Fine Motor Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Fine Motor Therapist to provide home‑based therapeutic support to children in Nairobi. This part‑time position focuses on improving speech, language, and fine motor skills through individualized sessions and play‑based activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and deliver personalized speech and language therapy sessions.
• Design and implement activities to enhance fine motor coordination, handwriting, and daily living skills.
• Plan and facilitate structured play to promote social interaction and developmental milestones.
• Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans, and maintain accurate session records.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback, progress reports, and home‑based exercise recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
• Valid professional registration or licensing where applicable.
• Experience working with children who need speech and fine motor development support.
• Strong knowledge of child development and therapeutic intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and compassionate skills.
