Staff Nurse – Midwife (Full‑time)

About the role
Provide patient‑centred nursing care, assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans, administer treatments and medication, monitor progress, support clinical procedures, and guide nursing students and newly deployed staff.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients.
- Assist patients with daily activities and monitor changes in symptoms.
- Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes.
- Participate in ward rounds and support medical staff during examinations and treatments.
- Assist in clinical investigations and coordinate ward activities.
- Orient, supervise and mentor new staff and nursing students.
- Ensure safe, clean environment and proper discharge procedures.
- Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and departmental reporting.
Required profile
- Diploma in KRCHN, KRN, or MBSc Nursing, or Higher National Diploma in Midwifery.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and hold a valid practising licence.
- Minimum one year post‑qualification clinical experience in midwifery nursing.
- Computer proficiency.
