About the role
The company is seeking two dedicated Stewards to join its catering and hospitality team in Thika. You will be responsible for maintaining high sanitation standards and supporting smooth kitchen and dining operations.
Key responsibilities
- Wash kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Clean food preparation and dining areas.
- Organise kitchen equipment and storage spaces.
- Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately.
- Receive, store and replenish cleaning supplies.
- Support food preparation activities and catering service.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain sanitation records and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum KCSE certificate.
- Food Handling Certificate.
- Previous experience in kitchen stewarding or hospitality preferred.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication and reliability.
