About the role
The Strategic Account Executive is a key member of ACV Auctions’ Enterprise Sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth with large automotive dealership groups. You will sell a suite of products—including ACV MaxDigital, ClearCar, ACV Transport, and Retail Inspection Solutions—while building long‑term C‑suite relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a robust pipeline of enterprise sales opportunities and achieve individual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales Executive to meet regional sales goals.
- Lead complex sales cycles: conduct needs assessments, present solutions, and negotiate contracts.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with decision‑makers at major dealership groups.
- Identify and expand product adoption within existing accounts.
- Stay current on automotive industry trends and provide strategic insights to clients.
- Work cross‑functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Analyze sales performance, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate CRM records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in automotive or technology.
- Proven success managing multi‑million‑dollar deals and delivering revenue growth.
- Strong financial acumen and deep knowledge of automotive retail/wholesale operations.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with C‑suite executives.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% and work remotely while maintaining high productivity.
