Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will oversee the flow of products from order receipt through to delivery, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled completely, stock levels meet business standards, and any deviations are reported promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Create weekly supplier orders and issue purchase order numbers to growers.
• Manage stock balances using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and maintain daily stock records.
• Communicate daily with suppliers and internal operations to align orders with business strategy.
• Monitor supplier performance, KPIs, and customer service levels, reporting delays to the wider team.
• Oversee stock rotation using a First‑In‑First‑Out system and control waste levels.
• Handle delayed arrivals, pack‑out reports, and product re‑charging processes.
• Maintain ERP procurement databases and ensure accurate data entry.

Required profile

• Experience in a supply chain environment, preferably within the fresh produce sector.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving industry.
• Adaptable to changing environments with a proactive, multitasking approach.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good Excel skills; knowledge of pivot tables is advantageous.
• Preferable experience with an ERP system.
