Sustainability Officer – Green Finance

About the role

The Sustainability Officer will lead the implementation and tracking of KDC’s sustainability and green financing strategies. The role involves preparing ESG reports, supporting climate‑risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with emerging ESG standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities under the KDC Sustainability and Green Financing Strategies.
• Prepare sustainability performance reports, dashboards and presentations for management and the Board.
• Collect, verify and disclose information in line with GRI Standards and IFRS S1/S2.
• Monitor progress against sustainability KPIs and implementation timelines.
• Support stakeholder engagements, workshops and sustainability awareness activities.
• Assist with climate‑risk assessments, adaptation planning and portfolio resilience analysis.
• Track operational and financed emissions, carbon footprints and climate‑transition metrics.
• Maintain documentation for audits, assurance and ESG reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in sustainability reporting, ESG, climate finance or development finance.
• Knowledge of GRI, IFRS S1/S2, TCFD and ESG due‑diligence processes.
• Strong data‑collection, analytics and report‑writing abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
