About the role
The Bandari Maritime Academy is seeking a dedicated Swimming Instructor to deliver high‑quality swimming lessons and ensure the safe, clean operation of its pool facilities in Westlands, Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Train students of various ages and skill levels in swimming techniques.
- Apply appropriate chemicals on a regular schedule to maintain water quality.
- Perform first‑aid procedures when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including benches, desk and waste disposal.
Required profile
- Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience in instructing or coaching swimming.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Fulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
What we offer
- Basic salary ranging from Ksh 31,000 to Ksh 63,500 per month.
- House allowance of Ksh 10,000.
- Commuter allowance of Ksh 12,000.
- Annual leave allowance of Ksh 4,000.
- Permanent, pensionable contract reporting to the Senior Trainer.
