Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who reports to the Country Lead, Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding. The role proactively and strategically attracts, sources, selects, deploys and hires talent while helping build a compelling employer brand. CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue and operates in 14 African countries.

Key responsibilities

• Talent sourcing: implement the sourcing part of the talent management process, build active and passive candidate pipelines, identify internal talent, and ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timeframes.
• Talent assessments: use assessment information to improve the quality of selection.
• Data integrity: keep accurate talent acquisition and assessment data for functional reviews and reporting.
• Recruitment metrics: report recruitment metrics and position the employer value proposition internally and externally.
• Customer service and stakeholder engagement: follow up regularly with recruiting managers, work with business leaders, HR partners and hiring managers, and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies.
• Onboarding: run the onboarding programme for new recruits and track the onboarding experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with a postgraduate HR qualification.
• IHRM membership.
• 3-5 years of experience as a talent acquisition or recruitment specialist in an FMCG or manufacturing company.
• Proven hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, including various interview techniques and evaluation methods.

Required skills

• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
• Competency-based interviewing and psychometric and competency assessment tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
