Tax Expert

About the role

Farsight Africa Technologies is seeking a Tax Expert to lead technical and advisory activities for enterprise tax administration system projects. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing modern tax solutions that meet client regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise on tax administration processes, workflows, and operational requirements.
• Support the design, configuration, and validation of tax business rules, calculations, and compliance controls.
• Analyze existing tax processes, identify automation opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, functional analysis, and business process mapping.
• Participate in system testing, functional validation, and integration with external government, financial, and digital payment platforms.
• Engage with stakeholders, conduct workshops, and build capacity within client tax offices.

Required profile

• Must be a resident of Somaliland.
• Strong knowledge of tax administration operations, revenue management, and public‑sector digital transformation.
• Experience working with government stakeholders and cross‑functional project teams.
