Technical Product Manager

About the role

ALX is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development and experimentation of AI‑driven learning products. You will work closely with engineering, LLMOps, and learner acquisition teams to build a scalable pipeline of beta learners and validate product hypotheses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a repeatable pipeline for recruiting beta learners, coordinating internal stakeholders to ensure a steady flow of participants.
• Partner with the LLMOps Engineer to instrument AI products, capture evaluation data, and build performance metrics.
• Own the experiment loop: prioritize uncertainties, design experiments, measure cycle time, analyse results, and ship improvements.
• Close the loop by reviewing data, validating UX and learning outcomes, and launching the next proof‑of‑concept.

Required profile

• Scientific mindset with experience running end‑to‑end product experiments, including hypothesis formulation, instrumentation, and decision making.
• Comfort discussing technical instrumentation, reading AI evaluation results, and collaborating directly with engineers.
• Proven ability to recruit real users, manage beta programmes, and align multiple stakeholders.
• Curiosity to solve challenges such as acquiring 50 beta learners in two weeks with no budget.

Required skills

• Product experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis‑driven testing).
• Technical fluency in instrumenting AI products and interpreting evaluation data.
• Operator skills for user recruitment and beta programme coordination.
