About the role
Join BOBU Africa Limited as a Tour Consultant Intern in Nairobi, supporting the reservations team for safari tours and related travel services. This role offers hands‑on experience in booking flights, hotels, and activities while working closely with sales and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in processing and confirming reservations for flights, hotels, and activities.
- Liaise with hotels, airlines, and service providers to ensure availability and smooth delivery.
- Prepare hotel vouchers, itineraries, quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations.
- Support the sales team in creating client‑specific itineraries.
- Handle booking changes, cancellations, special requests, and emergency support.
- Maintain up‑to‑date digital and physical files for all reservations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align bookings with company processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 0‑1 years of experience in reservations for a safari tour company (fresh graduates encouraged).
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Attention to detail, multitasking capability, and a customer‑first mindset.
- Knowledge of East Africa destinations is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with booking systems.
