About the role
We are looking for a Trade Development Representative to drive the recruitment and management of agents and SSO (Sub‑Station Operators) in Mombasa. The role focuses on expanding our mobile‑money network by identifying high‑traffic retail locations, providing tools and training, and ensuring compliance with AML and KYC standards.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and recruit agents, targeting mobile‑money outlets and high‑traffic retail stores.
- Visit SSOs and agents regularly following agreed beat plans.
- Provide business tools to agents and conduct training on transaction processes, AML, and KYC procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, enforce the 1.5× stock rule for agents, and ensure SSOs have sufficient SIM inventory for registrations and activations.
- Develop and maintain merchandising standards by supplying merchandising materials to SSOs and agent outlets.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and distribution within FMCG or telecommunications.
