Trade Marketing Internship

About the role

The Trade Marketing Intern provides office‑based support to the Trade Marketing & Distribution team, assisting with coordination, reporting, documentation and market follow‑up across Somalia and Rwanda.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate trade marketing trackers, activity calendars, action logs and performance reports.
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly updates by collecting inputs, checking data quality and presenting information.
• Assist with coordination of trade marketing activities, including agency brief follow‑ups, approval tracking and purchase order support.
• Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, presentation inputs and briefing packs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor basic market intelligence such as competitor activity and trade feedback.

Required profile

• Strong organisation, attention to detail and responsiveness.
• Ability to manage personal workload, keep commitments visible and maintain a follow‑up rhythm.
• Good communication skills and professional email, meeting and presentation etiquette.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and data tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of trade marketing concepts and commercial processes.
