Training Admissions and Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The Training Admissions and Engagement Coordinator supports the Leadership and Learning Department of Natural State’s Centre for the Nature Economy. The role manages the end‑to‑end admissions process, participant onboarding, and ongoing engagement for a range of vocational and leadership programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage applications, admissions, enrolment and onboarding for all Leadership and Learning programmes.
• Serve as primary contact for prospective and enrolled participants, providing information on programme requirements, fees, bursaries and schedules.
• Maintain accurate participant records, coordinate selection, confirmations, waiting lists and completion documentation.
• Oversee participant communications before, during and after programmes, including module‑wise engagement, post‑programme follow‑up and community‑of‑practice activities.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising, Communications and Partnerships team and programme colleagues to promote programmes and recruit participants.
• Support outreach and relationship management with universities, colleges and other learning partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in admissions, enrolment or participant coordination for training or educational programmes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
• Willingness to reside on‑site in Nanyuki and travel as required.
