Treasury Accountant

About the role

The Treasury Accountant manages daily banking and cash operations, ensures accurate bookkeeping, maintains optimal liquidity and supports financial planning and risk management. The role also covers monitoring financial facilities and strict compliance with internal financial policies and banking covenants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bank accounts, cash payments and treasury bookkeeping functions
• Maintain liquidity levels and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Identify, assess and mitigate cash flow risks
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and treasury policies
• Track and monitor finance costs
• Manage financial assets and investment activities
• Oversee loans, overdrafts and trade finance facilities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• CPA (K), ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, banking and financial management principles
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in treasury management, banking operations, cash management or a related finance role
