Treasury Officer (French‑speaker)

About the role

The Treasury Officer will join a multinational Treasury team operating across Nairobi, Singapore, Barcelona and Ecuador, with a focus on Francophone Africa. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the role involves managing daily cash‑flow, liquidity and foreign‑exchange transactions for a fast‑growing fintech business.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily forecasting of transaction volumes and generate funding wire and FX conversion lists.
• Prepare, release and monitor all wires, FX conversions and network funding flows, confirming credit with partners.
• Assist clients with prefunding issues and manage working capital allocation and reporting.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to enhance Treasury systems and conduct safeguarding procedures.
• Manage FX execution with payout partners, monitor costs and ensure compliance with pricing agreements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Treasury experience in a corporate or financial‑services environment with cross‑border payments.
• Fluent French speaker with experience in Francophone Africa.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural fintech setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online banking platforms and payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA, GIRO, RTGS).
• Working knowledge of foreign‑exchange markets, cross‑currency rates and FX margin calculations.
• Experience with safeguarding, forecasting and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced Excel (macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
