Tutorial Fellow – Film and Animation

About the role

The Tutorial Fellow will join Zetech University’s Film and Animation department to teach, design curricula, and advance research. This on‑site, full‑time position blends classroom instruction with scholarly activity, ensuring students receive industry‑relevant education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and hands‑on workshops across the film and animation curriculum as assigned by the Head of Department.
• Design, develop and launch new programmes of study, creating course structures for emerging subject areas.
• Regularly review and update teaching materials, assessment methods and course content to maintain academic quality and industry relevance.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues on curriculum revisions, pedagogical improvements and research‑led teaching initiatives.
• Conduct original research, publish findings in scholarly outlets and prepare competitive grant proposals.
• Present research at national and international conferences and engage in consultancy projects that showcase departmental expertise.

Required profile

• Diploma in Film, Animation or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum three years of relevant teaching or industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research and publish results.
• Experience in curriculum design, assessment development and academic mentorship.
