Universal Banker – Branch Business Growth

About the role

The Universal Banker will drive branch business growth, cross‑sell retail products and deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring KYC/AML compliance. This role focuses on expanding new business, increasing wallet share and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategic initiatives to grow new business and increase wallet share from existing customers.
• Promote and sell a full range of retail and business banking products, collaborating with Direct Sales, Asset Finance, CIB and Bancassurance teams.
• Monitor portfolio risks and ensure compliance with KYC, AML and internal control policies.
• Handle customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary to maintain high satisfaction and NPS scores.
• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets, track performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Support branch marketing activities and gather market intelligence to identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years experience in banking with a proven sales track record.
• Familiarity with checking accounts, savings accounts, loans and credit cards.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
