Vendor Operations Specialist

About the role

Simple Life is seeking a Vendor Operations Specialist to own the full vendor lifecycle, manage software subscriptions, and ensure compliance across the organization. This hands‑on position requires juggling multiple work streams, pushing back when necessary, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Source, onboard, contract, and renew vendors for hardware, IT equipment, and services.
• Coordinate procurement and maintain relationships with vendors, including legal agreements (MSAs, NDAs).
• Track all SaaS subscriptions, identify waste, manage renewal calendars, and prevent unauthorized auto‑renewals.
• Conduct KYC/KYB for new vendors, keep documentation up‑to‑date, and serve as the primary operational contact for third parties.
• Identify manual workflows, design automations and trackers, and support ad‑hoc operational requests, reporting, and compliance packages.

Required profile

• Naturally detail‑oriented and able to notice what others miss.
• Capable of managing several work streams simultaneously without losing track.
• Comfortable pushing back on vendors, timelines, and incomplete answers.
• Clear communicator in English.
• 2–4 years of experience in operations, finance, procurement, or a similar field.
• Experience with AI‑driven workflows, process optimization, and operational automations.
