Virtual Sales Representative (Furniture)

About the role

Victoria Courts is hiring a Virtual Sales Representative (titled Virtual Design Consultant) in Mombasa, Kenya. You will drive sales and provide excellent customer service online, helping customers through the entire online sales process, from first inquiry to post-purchase support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations to understand customers' furniture needs and give personalised recommendations.
• Follow up on leads quickly through various channels and guide them through the purchase.
• Build strong product knowledge of furniture features, materials and styles, and stay updated on new arrivals, marketing campaigns and launches.
• Run virtual showroom tours and help customers visualise products in their own homes.
• Provide accurate price quotes and explain discounts and promotions clearly.
• Guide customers through online and offline ordering and work with branches and logistics on delivery schedules.
• Maintain customer relationships, gather feedback and work toward individual and team sales targets, including upselling and cross-selling.
• Keep track of market trends and competitor offerings and share insights with the sales and marketing team.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience.
• Proven online sales experience, preferably with a high lead conversion rate.
• Goal-oriented, customer-centric approach.
