About the role
Join Africa Nazarene University as a Volunteer Faculty member in the Computer & Information Technology department. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality teaching, supervising student research, and contributing to curriculum development in a spiritually supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and implement a high‑quality curriculum for computer and information technology courses.
- Review and update course outlines, create lesson plans, and prepare both contact and online teaching materials.
- Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, laboratory sessions, and off‑class projects to enhance student learning.
- Design and implement learning assessment plans and supervise undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
- Participate in departmental research, publish findings, and engage in grant writing and collaborations.
- Advise students on academic and career matters as needed.
- Attend conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and market outreach activities.
- Support departmental administrative and field operations.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning, and research skills.
