Volunteer Faculty – Languages & Literature

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer faculty member to teach Languages and Literature at Africa Nazarene University. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, both in‑person and through online platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and implement curriculum and lesson plans for language and literature courses.
• Prepare and deliver contact learning and online teaching materials, including assessments.
• Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, assignments and laboratory sessions.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate research, internships and thesis work.
• Participate in departmental research, publish findings and contribute to grant writing.
• Advise students on academic and career matters and represent the department at conferences and outreach events.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
• Minimum three years of relevant industry or academic experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
