About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Faculty member to join the Education department at Africa Nazarene University. This full‑time, on‑site position involves contributing to curriculum development, delivering high‑quality teaching, and supporting student research.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, plan and implement a high‑quality curriculum and course outlines.
- Prepare contact‑learning and online teaching materials, including lesson plans and assessment tools.
- Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, laboratory sessions and off‑class projects.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate students, guide internships and research projects.
- Conduct and publish research in specialist areas, participate in grant writing and collaborations.
- Advise students on academic and career matters.
- Represent the department at conferences, workshops, industrial linkages and outreach visits.
- Support departmental administration and field operations.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field, or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
- Minimum three years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and research abilities.
