About the role
The Africa Nazarene University seeks a dedicated volunteer faculty member to lead Strategic Management courses. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the university’s mission of delivering high‑quality education within a strong spiritual environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high‑quality curriculum.
- Review curriculum and course outlines; create detailed course and lesson plans.
- Prepare contact‑learning and online course materials and teaching aids.
- Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off‑class activities.
- Develop learning assessment plans to evaluate student performance.
- Supervise and guide undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
- Participate in departmental research, publish findings, and engage in grant writing and collaborations.
- Advise students on academic, career, and related matters.
- Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits as required.
- Support departmental administrative and field operations.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field, or a Masters degree with a PhD candidacy at the final data‑collection stage.
- At least three years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing and planning abilities.
- Demonstrated research skills and a record of publishing in professional outlets.
