Waitress (4 Positions Available)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring four waitresses for a full-time position in Kiambu (Kirigiti), within the hospitality industry. The role covers guest service, order taking, table maintenance and billing.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to their tables and present menus promptly.
• Explain daily specials, answer questions about menu items and ingredients, and suggest food and beverage pairings.
• Enter orders accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system and pass special dietary requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and neatly, following restaurant service etiquette.
• Prepare tables with clean linens, tableware and condiments, clear dirty dishes and sanitise tables between guests.
• Keep dining areas, wait stations and service equipment clean and organised.
• Present accurate bills, handle cash, M-Pesa and card payments, and report complaints to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, Catering or a related field.
• Previous experience as a waitress, server or host is preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong hospitality background are encouraged to apply.
• Well-groomed appearance, good personal hygiene and a respectful, welcoming manner.

Required skills

• Strong verbal communication in Swahili and English.
• POS order entry.
