About the role
The Ward Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and institutional support to Hon. Gateru Juliana, a specially elected member of the County Assembly of Kiambu. This full‑time, on‑site position involves managing correspondence, office operations, and supervising staff to ensure smooth daily functioning of the ward office.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the Member’s diary, record major events, and keep the Member informed of day‑to‑day operations.
- Draft official correspondence, prioritize incoming mail and enquiries, and submit monthly returns on ward office operations.
- Oversee general office management, including prompt settlement of utility bills and custodianship of office assets and records.
- Supervise other office staff and ensure efficient workflow.
Required profile
- Adult Kenyan citizen.
- At least a secondary education qualification.
- Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
- Computer literacy.
Required skills
- Strong written communication in English and Kiswahili.
- Basic computer skills for office software and record‑keeping.
