The role provides hands-on operational and technical support to ensure rapid, secure and fully compliant handling of emergency medical commodities, with a focus on inventory control, cold chain integrity and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving at Third-Party Logistics (3PL) facilities and ensure accurate, rapid system posting of incoming emergency products

  • Apply first-expiring-first-out (FEFO) stock rotation to protect temperature-sensitive goods
  • Prepare emergency shipments with accurate labeling, thermal shielding and secure packaging, and verify loads against tally sheets and delivery notes
  • Assemble, pack and label emergency distribution kits for high-risk zones, isolation units and partner facilities
  • Take part in physical stock counts and cycle counts, reconciling floor records with system balances
  • Handle complaints by investigating them, applying corrective and preventive actions and resolving issues on the floor
  • Comply with safety regulations, occupational health standards and emergency hazard protocols

Required profile

  • Diploma in a business-related field, Health Systems Management, or an Enrolled Diploma in Pharmacy
  • Recognized training or certificates in warehouse management, CIPS, stores management, health commodities or hazardous materials handling
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with supply chain procedures, FEFO management and rapid dispatch workflows
  • Preferred: ability to work independently under pressure, willingness to travel to response locations and work outside normal hours

Required skills

  • Working knowledge of supply chain procedures, good distribution practices and cold-chain management
  • Stock inspection, high-velocity alphanumeric data entry and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Attention to batch tracking, expiration monitoring and audit-ready record keeping
